Because of church and individual contributions in the past, Pregnancy Helpline has been serving Livingston County's young mothers and their children, both born and unborn, for 28 years. We not only counsel women in crisis pregnancy, but help them maintain a sense of dignity through a most difficult situation.
Our clients receive crisis pregnancy, prenatal care, pregnancy prevention and chastity counseling. Our clients also use our loan closet to acquire gently used cribs, bedding, maternity clothes, baby clothes, car seat vouchers, and if needed, diapers and formula on an emergency basis. In 1999 we became a licensed medical facility offering ultrasounds and pre-natal vitamins. The addition of ultrasound has proven a mighty tool in protecting the unborn. All of our services are free and confidential.
As our county has experienced tremendous growth, unfortunatly, so has the need for our services. In 2001, we had over 900 client visits, serving nearly 1500 children. We have relocated our facilities to a larger and more accessible location near Planned Parenthood. Crisis Pregnancy Center (CPC) specialists believe it most beneficial to be located near a Planned Parenthood. Many young women will stop at the CPC where they are given information, support and hope, averting their choice to go to Planned Parenthood. Knowing that there is help and support available, these mothers have made a choice for Life. Click on the "Contact Us" button on the left for a map and directions to our new location.

- Increased availability of ultrasound, allowing the mothers to see their baby.
- STD testing: early intervention can stop the growth of these sometimes fatal diseases.
- Prenatal care through the second trimester, necessary for the health of the baby.

- Expansion of teenage pregnancy prevention program by adding parent resources.
- Post Abortion Counseling: One on one mentoring.
