Larry was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1945. He was baptized at the South Lyon Church of Christ. Larry has lived his whole life in Michigan, moving from the Detroit area to the Brighton/Howell area. Larry is an Inventory Control and Customer Parts Supplier for General Motors.
Larry is married to Charlotte, and they have two grown children: Melissa and Chantel. Melissa and her husband Mike Bradner are also members of the Howell Church of Christ.
Larry's interests include reading, studying the Bible and teaching classes. He also enjoys doing anything with his wife Charlotte, with one exception: shopping.
Larry served as a ministry leader at the South Lyon congregation; he was also a deacon at Brighton and a deacon at Howell before he was appointed as an elder here in Howell in April 1997.
Larry says he has gained a deep satisfaction through sharing the gospel with others, and helping people understand the Scriptures.
Larry oversees Benevolence, the Children's Ministry, Visitation and Worship.
