The Bible's Claim of Divine Origin
Opponents of the concept of divine revelation claim that the Bible is not from God. They maintain that the Bible is merely the product of imaginative men. It is to be viewed as a literary work like the writings of Shakespeare or Twain. Proponents of this belief do not feel that the Bible should be elevated above any other religious work whether it be the Qur'an of Islam, the Vedas of Hinduism, or the writings of Buddhism.
Yet the Bible's claims to a divine origin can be investigated. And when its contents are compared with the writings of other belief systems, it rises above them; for the Bible alone stands the test that demonstrates an origin beyond human capabilities. If you will allow us, we believe we can show you the Bible is unique.
